this trip was so much better than going to winter formal. my teammates are seriously some of the funniest kids in the whole entire world. their humor is dry and stupid, but i just can't help to laugh. you guys are such great friends and i'm so happy i came back out this season. you guys are one of the main reasons i stay happy.{A}

i love this post. do you know why? because i can relate to it TOTALLY. My senior prom was on the same night as all-state (orchestra). These people were my second family, and it was such an amazing opportunity! It turned out that an incredibly nice guy decided he would take me anyway. It wasn't all i imagined. We drove home 2 hours after the performance, i had 20 minutes to find a dress and get ready right before the dance, we showed up to the dance a half hour before it ended, i didn't get to share it with my friends, and most the time my date just left me to see his friends. Yeah, i know, i'm kind of selfish, right? don't get me wrong, i am so grateful to him for still taking me, but i know what a sacrifice it is to miss something like that, and how much running must mean to you to miss a school dance! i have maaad respect for you. and i give you mad props. y o u r o c k .
