Meet John.

i've been known to always have a boyfriend. and most of the time, i only choose to talk about the ones i'm pretty serious with. like sam and tanner. well, as you can probably read at the title of this post, i would like to introduce to my boyfriend john.
i know the word 'boyfriend' seems very heavy, in a way, but i really love telling people that i'm dating this guy.
i'm seriously the luckiest girl
in the whole entire world.
john and i have been dating since november. we broke up in december for two weeks. it was easily one of the hardest break ups that i've ever been through. it was rough. but luckily, it lasted a lot shorter than i thought it would.
john and i go to school together. he's lds. and he's my age. three things i've never had at the same time. like i said, i'm lucky.
john is seriously one of the funniest kids in the whole entire world. i can't handle being in a relationship with someone who doesn't have a sense of humor; luckily he has one. he makes me laugh uncontrollably. and if he's laughing while you're with him, you'll instantly start cracking up. his laugh is absolutely contagious! he's one of those guys that i don't have to be constantly talking to to know that he likes me and cares about me. don't get me wrong, we talk every single day, but we aren't one of those couples who spends every weekend together, or texts every second we're apart. he's very laid back and i like to think i am too. he's become my best friend over these past few months and i really care about him so much.
i'm not going to lie, john and i have gone to school with each other since junior high, but it's taken us all the way to our senior year for us to notice one another. john likes to pretend he had a crush on me in junior high, when i wore red glasses and my hair was curly, but i think he's just making stuff up. he really is such a sweetheart and i can't believe i landed someone as good as him. he's a worthy priesthood holder and plans on serving a mission when he turns 19. his birthday is in december. he just turned 17. so he's got a full two years of preparation ahead of him. luckily, he has his goals set high and is planning to get as much school done as he can before he leaves and then head out to serve the lord on an lds mission.
i wish i could express how much i care about this kid in words, but i really don't know how. but i'm the happiest i've been in a long time. and i hope i stay this way for a long, long time...because loosing him, my best friend, again would be unbearable.he's most certainly a keeper, don't you think?

Here's to 2011.

i know this post is extremely late, but i do it every year.
i don't think i could've learned more about life and myself in 2011. it had its ups and downs, but i wouldn't take it back for anything. it was easily one of the most crucial and stressful years of my life thus far, but it was perfect. i wouldn't have done it any other way. some of my very best memories come from 2011. i can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for me!
